Orbital Modules
Pressurized modules designed to operate in cislunar, Martian, and Earth orbits. Orbital modules include configurations for research, habitation, and logistics support, and feature standardized CBM+ interfaces for robotic and crew vehicle docking. They are adaptable for both commercial stations and governmental platforms.
ARX STELLA’s vision for life and work in low Earth orbit brings together interconnected modules for scientific research, mission control, crew living quarters, and advanced experiments. This conceptual illustration reveals the interior spaces and a dedicated reactor module envisioned to support future power needs. The modular architecture offers a flexible foundation for expanding orbital infrastructure as mission requirements grow.
ARX STELLA’s orbital data center concept envisions interconnected modules housing computing and data storage systems, with a dedicated reactor module supporting future power needs. This conceptual illustration shows how our modular architecture could accommodate digital infrastructure in low Earth orbit, providing a flexible foundation for space-based computing, research, and mission support.
ARX STELLA’s module concept features a 50-inch hatch intended to support crew access and equipment transfer between connected spaces. This rendering highlights the cylindrical exoshell and berthing interface envisioned as building blocks for future orbital habitats, laboratories, and mission infrastructure.
ARX STELLA’s vehicle docking module concept features a 35-inch hatch intended to enable crew passage and cargo transfer between visiting spacecraft and orbital infrastructure. This rendering highlights the docking interface and cylindrical exoshell envisioned to support transportation, resupply, and crew access for future space missions.
ARX STELLA’s airlock module concept features 50-inch hatches and standard Common Berthing Mechanisms (CBMs) for connection to orbital infrastructure. Envisioned to support crew preparation, equipment transfer, and spacewalk operations, the module provides a dedicated transition space between pressurized living and working areas and the external space environment.
Nuclear Modules
Self-contained energy modules including small modular reactors (SMRs), radiothermal electric generators (RTGs), and deployable power management systems. These units are built for redundancy and long-duration reliability on the lunar or Martian surface, or in orbit, and are fully shielded to comply with safety and launch standards. Each module can autonomously regulate output and interface with multiple ARX systems.
ARX STELLA’s nuclear module concept features a 50-inch hatch and a dedicated enclosure envisioned to house a compact reactor and supporting systems. Intended for future orbital and planetary surface power applications, the module combines our exoshell architecture with provisions for reactor integration and radiation shielding to support long-duration missions.
